Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour
Destination: Kathmandu: Swoyambhunath-Bouddhanath-Kapan-Patan-Pharping-
Pokhara: David’s Fall-Tibetan Refugee Camp-World Peace Stupa-Lumbini-Kushinagar-Patna -Bodhgaya-Varanashi
Itinerary:
Day 01:
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Refresh. Sightseeing tour to Swoyambhunath - back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02:
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour to Bouddhanath, Kapan Buddhist Monastery & Patan Durbar Square. Then drive to Pharping Monastery for Prayer and lessons about Buddhism and overnight stay.
Day 03:
After breakfast drive to Pokhara- arrival Pokhara, transfer to hotel, rest and then sightseeing tour to David’s fall and Tibetan Refugee Camp- back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04:
Breakfast. Day hiking to World Peace Stupa (Pagoda) and back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05:
Breakfast - drive to Lumbini - arrival Lumbini and transfer to hotel, rest evening sight seeing around Lumbini and Meditation class & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06:
After breakfast- sight seeing tour to Lumbini - Sacred Buddha Maya Garden and various Buddhist monastery and temple from various country and meditation or information about Buddha- back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 07:
After breakfast, drive to Sunauli border and continue to Kushinagar- arrival Kushinagar, transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08:
Breakfast- sight seeing tour to Kushinagar and drive to Patna enroute visit Vaishali. Arrival Patna - transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09:
Breakfast- sightseeing tour around Patna- then after drive to Bodhgaya the place of Buddha’s enlightenment- enroute visit Nalanda & Rajgir. On arrival transfer to hotel, rest and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10:
Breakfast- sightseeing around Bodhgaya and drive to Varanasi. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Sarnath and city tour. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11:
Early morning boat rides on river Ganges. Breakfast. Transfer to airport for your onward destination.
