Everest Base Camp Trek

Making the journey to Everest Base Camp is the fulfillment of a dream made even better by great time you’ll have trekking through the home of the Sherpa people along the way.
Your objective is a visit to Everest Base Camp (17,575ft.) or even more challenging the near by Kalapathar (18,193ft.) with its breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (the world’s fourth highest mountain) and numerous other peaks. After a spectacular flight to Lukla (9403ft.), you trek up the Dudh Koshi (milky river) to Namche Bazaar, the bustling center of Sherpa life and also called the gateway of the Everest. The highlights of your time here, while you acclimatize are visits to Sherpa homes and the perk museum before heading to Tengboche Monastery the holiest in the Khumbu. It is serenely on a high meadow in the lee of the distinctive peak of AmaDablam.

The trail now takes you ever upward skirting formidable glaciers and neat Sherpa villages. On returning to Lukla bid a fond farewell to your gracious Sherpa hosts and set of on the return flight along the mighty Himalaya to Kathmandu. There is time to reflect on your adventure as well as exploring this historic and exotic city.

Day to day Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), met by our Airport Representative, and transfer to hotel- tour briefing. Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 02 Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhu, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel. B.B
Day 03 Early in the morning, transfer to Airport. After 30 minutes scenic flight to Lukla (2804 mtrs.), we begin our trek to Phakding (2610 mtrs.) - 3 hours easy walking. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 04 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 05 Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 06 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3850m). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 07 Tengboche to Dingboche (4350 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D
Day 08 Day trip to Chhukung valley and trek back to Dingboche. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 09 Dingboche to Lobuche (4950 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 10 Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5160 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 11 Trek to Everest Base camp (5400 mtrs.) and return to Ghorakshep. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 12 The day starts with a hike up to Kalapathar (5545 mtrs.), an excellent viewpoint to observe the Mount. Everest and innumerable spectacular mountains views. Then trek back to Pheriche (4280m). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 13 Trek to Khumjung Village (3753 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 14 Trek to Phakding (2610 mtrs.). Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 15 Trek to Lukla. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
Day 16 Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 17 Leisure day in Kathmandu (it's also spare day incase of bad weather in Lukla). Overnight at hotel. B.B.
Day 18 Transfer to Airport for your home departure. Farewell !!
