The river is known as river of gold and one of the ten best rafting rivers in the world. This river flows through the great Mahabharat lake mid – eastern Nepal. It offers a varied and changing landscape from hill terraced farm land to tropical jungles and has many challenging rapids.

A pre-departure meeting to answer any questions, arrange timings for the departure and meet the team over a glass of rum (or two) is held the night before

Day 01 3hrs drive to Dolalghat; rafting starting point and short rafting camp in Tarang Gaon
Day 02 Tarang Gaon to Dumja village rafting approx. 4 hours
Day 03 Dumja village to Khunkot rafting approx. 6 hours
Day 04 Khurkot to Likhu Khola rafting approx. 5 hours
Day 05 Likhu Khola to Harkapur village rafting approx. 6 hours
Day 06 Harkapur village to Rai Ghat rafting approx. 6 hours
Day 07 Rai Ghat to Bander Ghat rafting approx. 6 hours
Day 08 Bander Ghat to Bonjur Ghat rafting aprox. 6 hours
Day 09 Bonjur Ghat to Barahchhatra rafting aprox. 6 hours
Day 10 Short rafting reaches out points Chatara, after lunch takes night bus to Kathmandu or drive to Biratnagar to take a flight back to Kathmandu.
