| Day 01 |
Kathmandu-Lhasa-Tsetang
Flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu International Airport. The flight is breathtakingly spectacular, flying over the Himalayan range onto the Tibetan plateau. Arrive at Gongor airport and met by representatives and then driven to Tsetang. Relax day in hotel as a measure against high altitude sickness. |
| Day 02 |
Tsetang
Visit the Yambulakhang, tomb of ancient Tibetan kings and also visit the Samye Monastery, home of the yellow hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. |
| Day 03 |
Tsetang-Gyantse
Start our road journey to Gyantse where visit some very interesting places- Gyantse Fort, Palkhor Choden Monastery and Kumbum stupa and ultimately back to Lhasa. |
| Day 04 |
Gyantse-Shigatse
Road journey to Shigatse and visit The Tashilumpo Monastery (86 ft. tall statue of Maitreya or the coining Buddha). |
| Day 05 |
Shigatse-Lhasa
Drive back to Lhasa along the banks of the mighty Bhramaputra River, through many colorful Tibetan villages and lush valleys full of high-altitude crops. Arrive in Lhasa and check into our hotel. |
| Day 06 |
Lhasa
Visit all the important religious and cultural sites of Lhasa: Potala Palace, the official residence of the exiled Dalai Lama; Norbulinkha, the summer palace of Dalai Lama and Sera Monastery |
| Day 07 |
Lhasa
Continue with our tour to Drepung Monasteries; Jokhang Temple famous for the statue of little Buddha, Barkhor bazaar to visit the local market place and shop for souvenirs. |
| Day 08 |
Lhasa-Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Gongor airport for the flight back to Kathmandu. We are met at Kathmandu airport and transferred to your hotel. |
